Tuesdays in Arundel ...................
Volunteer Training - Tacking up
On a Tuesday afternoon the team of volunteers work together to provide a safe and fun riding experience for the riders.
Volunteers do a variety of tasks including preparing the horses and ponies, helping with mounting and dismounting, leading horses, or sidewalking.
All of our volunteers complete the national RDA basic training and are DBS checked. Many also undertake additional courses such as first aid training.
To volunteer you need to be available from about 11:00 am until 3:30 pm on Tuesdays during term time. You will need to have experience with horses (either your own or in a riding school) and be able to groom, tack up and lead a pony in walk and trot
At different times we need volunteers with different skills and experience.
During the holidays volunteers get together for 'Cakefest' and rambles
