Lesson 1 : Musical Ride - A challenge for riders and Volunteers
Our first group - Kim & Sultan, Chris & Rupert, Fiona & George, Bradley & Conker, Daisy & Zebedee and Ethan & Joey took on the challenge of a formation ride. (No music - but hopefully next term ...). They rode as a ride and then in pairs - down the centre line then alternating left and right. Lots of concentration to make sure that you stayed level with your partner - and kept the right distance from the pony in front. Lots of school shapes - two circles one inside the other in opposite directions.

Lesson 2 : Games
Our second Group - Courtney on Rupert, Michelle on Ivan, Beth on Sultan, Courtney 2 on Bally and Damaris played mounted games. There were two teams. Simon said 'no cheating' - but some of the volunteers got carried away !! We used bending poles - there were ducks and bean bags and 'high five ' hands to be moved from one end to the other. Our theme was Noah's Ark - Beth was a cuddly bear and Damaris a beautiful butterfly.

Lesson 3 Games
Our third group also played mounted games. we had our very own Noah - as Noah - with Sophie as a  not too scary Tiger, Orla as a very stripy zebra. and Tabitha as a very smart cat. Lots of games with bending poles, balls and rings and ducks. We finished with Granma's footsteps. The volunteers cheated rather a lot - and moved when they shouldn't - so riders had to have a penalty.
